When time came to sell our property, we contacted Vann Roark with R & R Auctioneers & Realty. This was the first experience we had with selling and of course, we had lots of questions and concerns. Due to the passing of our father/father-in-law and recent passing of our mother/mother-in-law, we spoke to Vann Roark with R & R Auctioneers & Realty, Inc. with respect to having a Personal Property Auction in August of 2020. Although we have known Vann for many years, we did not know how he conducted an estate sale so we took it upon ourselves to attend one...previous to making our decision to hire him. What impressed us the most was that his auctions are always opened with prayer. Wow! You don't see that happen much anymore. Soon thereafter, we contacted Vann and he met with us to review in detail the contents up for sale. We drew up a contract and set a date in August to have the sale. Vann was always available to answer any questions we had or to make another trip to our home to talk with us. With COVID-19 being very active, all precautions were taken to insure the COVID rules were met. Vann and his team started to organize and list the items for sale and commence advertising. Vann and his team quickly went to work the day of the sale, while we stood by and watched everything unfold. For six hours straight, the actioners worked very hard as one professional team in auctioning the merchandise to get us the best price possible. It was a very emotional day for us in selling our beloveds' prized possessions, but Vann and his team were exceptional in making this day very comfortable for us and now we have sweet memories of a good day with family and friends. We highly recommend R & R to anyone needing to have an auction; honest and integrity are two qualities hard to find these days. Vann Roark with R & R Auctioneers & Realty, Inc., is a great person to handle all aspects of your deceased loved one’e Estate. When we called him, he immediately made an appointment to meet with us. He and his staff packed up with care all the household and personal items, along with handling the vehicles as well as making an inventory list as they went. Vann always arrives on or before the scheduled time and does what he says he will do. This was a difficult year with COVID-19 but Vann found a way to have an estate sale using social distancing and wearing masks since we couldn’t have a live auction with the personal property. Vann was in contact with us at least weekly on the progress of the estate and he was always available to answer our questions. He went with us on appointments, and answered all of our questions on matters when we asked. In today’s time it is unusual to find a man of Vann’s character who is honest and up front and actually does what he says he will do. Vann is a good businessman and I would definitely recommend using him for all of your real estate and auctions needs.
